In this 8-Week Program you will learn coping skills, how to identity distressing thoughts and unhealthy behaviors, and how to meditate. Based on the best-seller book: Mindfulness: An Eight-Week Plan for Finding Peace in a Frantic World (2011) by Mark Williams and Danny Penman
Cost: $30.00 per session
Facilitator: Dr Ana Gouvea is a counselor (Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, License # IMH16180), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a Ph.D. in Linguistics. She has experience in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, depression, anger and stress management, and self –esteem issues.
